Accessory Only Orders

 

Starting with version 3.1.73, it is possible to create an order without line items. Previously, if you wanted to order accessories you would have to create an order with at least one line item, add accessories to it and submit it to ClimateMaster through the Business Center application. A new feature has been added to the system that allows representatives to create orders that only contain accessories.

 

To create an accessory only order, create a new project or select an existing project. Creating a project is detailed in the section entitled Creating a New Project. Once you have navigated to the My Active Projects page click the Schedule button for the project desired.

 

A blank schedule page will be displayed as shown in the following figure.

 

 

Click the  button to create a blank quote.

 

A blank order will be created and you will be redirected to the order details form. From here you can add accessory items to the order. At a minimum, be sure to select Order Type, Transaction Type, Order Status, Purchase Order, Job Type, Specification, Shipping Terms, Ship Via, Ship To Zip Code, Contact Name and Contact Phone. Scroll down to the Line Items and Accessories section.

 

Click the Edit icon . The system will save your order automatically and redirect your browser to the Accessories for Order page. Follow the steps detailed in the Adding Accessories to a Quote or Order section. Add the accessories desired and when complete click the  button to return to your order. The accessories you selected will be displayed in the Line Items and Accessories section of your order as shown below.

 

 

The Pricing Summary section will be updated with the list price of the accessories selected and the default multiplier assigned to the accessories category will be applied. The total net price in the pricing summary section will reflect the list price times the published multiplier amount. See the figure below for an example.

 

 

Freight is not calculated by the CMSC and shipping charges will be assessed by ClimateMaster once the accessory quote has been submitted through the ClimateMaster Business Center system. Make any other adjustments to the order necessary and once you are ready to submit your request click the  button to submit your order through the Business Center application.

 

When you return to the schedule page you will notice that the contents of the schedule grid section is still blank. This is due to the fact that no line items have been added to the project, just accessories. At first, it may appear that the project does not contain any orders. To access your quotes click the Orders button at the top of the Equipment Schedule as shown in the figure below.

 

 

 

This will redirect your browser to the Project Order List page. From here you will be able to view the order associated with your project.
