Starting in version 3.1.97 of the ClimateMaster Solution Center software, it is possible for System Administrators to delete user accounts. In the event that a user account is inadvertently created or an account request is approved, it is possible for administrators to delete the account. Deleting accounts is only allowed if the account has not previously created any projects. If the user has projects, active or inactive, the system administrator will not be given the option to delete their account. This is a safeguard that prevents projects, quotes and orders from becoming orphaned.

If you wish to delete a user account and that account has projects assigned you must first delete the projects, which may involve deleting quotes and orders before attempting to delete the user account.

To delete a user account select User Administration from the Administration menu. Locate the user using the steps described in the Search for a User help topic. View the properties of the user account as described in the Modifying User Properties topic and click the Delete User button at the bottom of the page.

You will be prompted to confirm the deletion of the user account:

Click the OK button to delete the user account or click Cancel to return to the User Administration page.
