The CMSC offers different dashboard for different levels of users. Depending on the permission level, users will have access to different dashboards. Each dashboard is tailored to the user type and is designed to display the pertinent information related to the user's permission level. Below is a brief description of each dashboard.

 

Sales Representative Dashboard & Rep Manager Dashboard

Both of these dashboards are similar in that they show the same four panes of information. The Sales Representative Dashboard shows project, quote and order information related to the sales rep currently logged on to the system, whereas the Representative Manager Dashboard displays information related to all users that are managed by the sales manager. There are four panes in the dashboard and each of them are described below.

 

My Recent Projects - Shows your open and active projects.

My Recent Quotes - Shows your open quotes and quotes that have not been converted to an order.

Order On Hold for Submittals - Displays a list of your orders and any orders of your child user accounts.

Submitted Orders, Waiting on Approval - Your orders and any order of your child user accounts that have been submitted to Order Entry.

Application Engineer Dashboard

During the process of creating an order or quote, a representative may need to make a special request of the engineering department for some part of the order or quote. The request may be anything from requesting changes in paint color to modifications that involve re-engineering any of the components of the system. All special requests have to be reviewed by the engineering department prior to order submittal. Any requests for review submitted by a representative will be displayed in the Application Engineer Dashboard. Users with the permission of Application Engineer will automatically be directed to this dashboard upon login to the system. Order Processing Dashboard

The Order Processing dashboard is used primarily by the customer service or order entry department to review submitted orders. Users with the permission level of Customer Service will automatically be directed to this dashboard upon login to the system. Starting with version 3.4.3 of the Solution Center, all orders with a transaction type of commission, must first be approved by the Credit Review department of ClimateMaster. View additional information regarding the credit approval process elsewhere in this user manual. These orders must be approved prior to submitting to the factory or posting in the Business Center. New Orders Submitted - No Specials (Orders that have been submitted that do not have any special engineering requests attached to them)

New Orders Submitted - With Specials (Orders that have been submitted that have a special engineering request attached to them)

New Orders Submitted - Pending Financial / Project Approval (Orders that have been submitted that are waiting on the credit approval process)

Approved Orders - (Orders that have been submitted and have all approvals in process. Orders ready to be processed)

 

 

Sales Manager Dashboard

The Rep Manager Dashboard contains information relevant to the sales process. It displays information about Open Special Multiplier Requests for Orders and Quotes and also displays submitted orders.

 

Open Special Multiplier Requests - Orders & Quotes

An order or quote will be displayed when a representative creates an order or quote and then requests a special multiplier from his or her Regional Sales Manager. The order or quote will remain in the Sales Manager Dashboard until such time that the regional sales manager reviews the request, either approves or denies it, and sends the request back to the representative. Until such time as the order or quote is sent back to the representative changes cannot be made to it.

 

Submitted Orders

The steps of finalizing an order is the process that a representative goes through once the order is ready to be submitted to the Business Center software. More detailed information about submitting orders can be found in the help topic Creating an Order from an Existing Quote. Any orders that have been submitted to ClimateMaster will be displayed in the Submitted Orders section.

 

 

Administrator Dashboard

This dashboard is used by System Administrators to approved new user account requests as outlined in the section Request a User Account. When a user that needs a login account creates a request for an account the request will be displayed in this dashboard.
