When a quote or order is created and an order type and transaction type have been selected the system will automatically display the representative's default multiplier rate. The rate is specific to each representative and is assigned by ClimateMaster. If a set of multipliers has not been assigned to a representative the system will automatically assign the default rates to the quote or order.

The published multiplier will be shown and resulting estimated total net pricing is shown. The published and approved multipliers are based upon order type and transaction type. If a special multiplier is required due to bidding conditions, scroll down to the Commissions section and either select a different Published Multiplier (only available on certain combinations of Order and Transaction type) or enter a different Requested Multiplier. Click thebutton to formally request a multiplier from ClimateMaster.

ClimateMaster offers three different multiplier/commission rates depending upon the product category. This allows flexibility to assign different multiplier and commission rates for each product line. Currently the three product lines are separated into

Tranquility^® Compact Series (TC)

Accessories, Commercial Price Pages 42-53 (ACC)

All Other Products (AOP)

Multiplier Request – If you wish to request a new multiplier or commission rate fill in the Requested Multiplier and/or Requested Commission columns then click the  button. When this is button is clicked, a pop-up screen appears (see below). Fill out the reason for the request and the basis of design. When the request is made, an e-mail is sent to the representative's regional sales manager for approval. Once the regional sales manager approves or denies the request and sends the quote back to the representative an e-mail will be sent to the rep to notify them of the update. If you convert the quote to an order before the request is processed, the request for a new multiplier is automatically removed.
