Quoted Shipping

Starting with ClimateMaster Solution Center version 3.3.52, customers ordering TRE, ACURB, ERV or TMW Large units are required to obtain a shipping quote prior to converting a quote to an order, or submitting an order to the Business Center.

Due to the shipping requirements for these items, ClimateMaster cannot ship them using the standard freight pricing and calculations. Customers must obtain a quote and enter the quote number in the quote or order form prior to submittal.

If you attempt to convert a quote to an order or submit an order to the Business Center without filling in the shipping quote information you will receive a pop up message similar to the following figure.

The message informs the user that shipping quote information must be entered unless the items are to be picked up at the ClimateMaster factory. You will not be able to continue with the quote conversion or order submission unless you enter the required information.

To provide the system with a shipping quote, select the Quoted check box in the Pricing Summary section as shown in the figure below.

Enter the quote number in the text box that is displayed next to the Quoted check box and enter the estimated shipping amount in the Current column. As you enter the shipping amount in the Current column the Total Net Price will automatically update. See the figure below for an example.

If at any time you wish to revert back to Standard Freight click the Use Standard Freight link next to the Hypothetical column. This will remove the Quoted freight selection and set the shipping amount back to the standard freight amount (if applicable) or revert the Freight amount to $0.00 if the quote or order contains any of the restricted items.
