Typically, between the quote and order, an engineering submittal is required to get customer and engineer approval. The CMSC software provides a means of creating a submittal for a project. Follow the steps below to create a submittal package for a project.

After you are logged in, select Projects from the Main Menu.

Locate the project you want and click the Submittal Icon.

You are redirected to the Project Submittal page. From here you can select the type of documents that you wish to generate. Select the documents that you wish to create and click the  button to create your customized submittal package. It make take several minutes to generate the submittal so please be patient.

The program goes through each line item in the quote or order, “looks up” and generates the submittal data for each item. The resulting submittal document opens in a separate window. At the top of each page you have the option to export the document into an Excel, PDF or Word document. This allows you to print or e-mail the document to the customer or engineer for final approval.
