Shipping Cycles Misc.Shipping Cycles (660)
Starting with release 3.2.20 of the ClimateMaster Solution Center (CMSC) users are able to choose from several shipping cycles. A shipping cycle represents a period of time in which a ClimateMaster customer may reasonably expect a product to be shipped from the factory.
Currently there are four different shipping cycle for Commercial products. The shipping cycles are:
•Standard
•Stock
•Quick
•Custom
Shipping cycle times are based on when an order is received, credit has been approved and the order has been released by customer service. For a more in-depth explanation of shipping cycles please view the related help topic entitled: Quick Ship elsewhere in this document. A brief explanation of the shipping cycles is listed below along with restrictions or policies that go along with each shipping cycle.
Standard - A standard shipping cycle is usually six (6) weeks. This shipping cycle is available to all commercial products. If the line item(s) has a Special Engineering Request associated with it the standard shipping cycle will be nine (9) weeks.
Stock - Stock shipping cycles are meant for units already manufactured and ready to ship to a customer or distributor. Items eligible for stock shipping are shipped either the next business day or two business days depending upon the time an order is received. If an order is received prior to 12PM Central Time with a stock shipping cycle, the order is typically shipped the very next day. If the order is placed after 12PM Central Time, the order is usually shipped within two (2) business days. Users are encourage to check the availability of stock items in the Business Center prior to placing this type of order.
Quick Ship - Items that are marked as Quick Ship are usually available for shipping in as little as 2 weeks. Quick ship item types are limited to certain models and orders sizes. For more information regarding Quick Shipping, please view the help topic entitled Quick Ship elsewhere in this article. Line items that have Special Engineering Requests associated with them are not eligible for Quick Ship. Line items other than the types specified in the Quick Ship section, may be eligible for Quick Ship depending upon availability and factory load.
Custom - This shipping cycle allows a user to select a custom ship date as soon as two (2) weeks - No Special Engineering Request to six (6) weeks out - Line items with Special Engineering Requests.
Shipping dates
Please note that ClimateMaster shipping dates used in the calculation of a requested ship date are based upon ClimateMaster business days. The system will automatically calculate the next available shipping day when a user selects the shipping cycle desired. Shipping dates do not include Saturday or Sunday or ClimateMaster holidays.
Accessory Shipping Dates
Starting in version 3.2.21 of the ClimateMaster Solution Center, the Stock shipping cycle is used for selecting requested shipping dates for accessories. This means that accessories may be shipped out as quickly as the next business day, depending upon the time of day that your accessory order has been submitted. As for line items, the same time/work day restrictions apply to accessories.
