If a line item is not attached to a quote or order it is possible to move the line item from one project to another. To move a line item to another project access the project schedule where the line item currently resides. Select the line item by clicking the Select check box next to the item. See below.

Once you have selected all the line items that you wish to move locate the project that you want to move them to in the Project drop down list box

Click the  or  button to copy or move the line item to the project specified.

Keep in mind the following restrictions regarding the moving or copying of line items

Moving

•Line items that are part of an existing order cannot be moved

•Line items that are part of an existing quote cannot be moved

Copying

•Line items that are part of an existing order can be copied

•Line items that are part of an existing quote can be copied
